You read that right.  Kaleidoscope Toys in Round Rock is carrying the 21 Best Toys of 2010 as selected by ASTRA, The American Specialty Toy Retailing Association.

One of the 21 best toys is called Spot It!, which is a card game for 2 to 8 players, ages 7 to Adult. There is always one, and only one, matching symbol between any 2 cards in this party game. Spot it and you win! A sharp eye and a little bit of speed is all it takes to become a Spot it! master.

Kaleidoscope Toys is hosting our own Chalk Art de Sidewalk in recognition and support of the Children At Heart Art & Music Festival being held on Saturday, October 9th in downtown Round Rock.

Kids are invited to help us decorate our sidewalk with their chalk creations from one end of the store to the other. Participants will receive a free box of colored chalk to create their own masterpieces at home. Don’t forget the camera!

This event is on Friday, October 8th from 10am to 7pm.

Kaleidoscope Toys of Round Rock is hosting a craft day for girls 5 years and up on Tuesday, July 6th from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Each child will make 3 bracelets to wear home. With Stick ‘N Style craft kits, girls can use a wide variety of jewels to create their own shimmering bracelets. “Aside from being incredibly easy to use, this new kit offers over 700 jewel tiles and 12 bracelets of varied thickness. Not only are there more than 700 jewels, but there are 17 varieties, making the combinations endless. There is no numbered pattern in this kit, so each design is unique!”
