Round Rock Christian Church

The call for a Disciples of Christ (Christian Church) congregation in the greater Round Rock area began when a few “Disciples” met to lay plans for organization of at the Bank of The Hills in February, 1983. The first service was held on October 2, 1983, at the Noah’s Ark Day School, with some 50 people in attendance. In the Disciples tradition a lay leadership steering committee met weekly to plan each service and invite visiting ministers to preach. Within six months attendance outgrew the day school, moving the congregation to Deepwood Elementary, and later to Chisholm Trail Middle School in Round Rock.

Faith Missionary Baptist Church

We believe that love one for another as Jesus loves the believer manifests our discipleship, proves our love for God and symbolizes our authority as New Testament churches. Love is therefore the great commandment of the LORD Jesus Christ upon which all others are dependent. Faith Missionary Baptist Church strongly supports all missionaries called to do the Lord’s work.

Westside Church of Christ

Westside church of Christ seeks to glorify God by consecrating ourselves before Him, communicating His Word, creating an environment that promotes personal and family growth, caring for those in need, and carrying the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost.

The Westside Church of Christ of Round Rock, Texas, traces its roots back to the summer of 1990. A group of approximately 60 people met in downtown Round Rock to discuss creating a congregation that would serve the needs of a rapidly developing north and west side of the city.

After prayerful consideration, it was determined that a Bank Buildingnew congregation would be established, and the first service of the Westside Church of Christ was held on September 16, 1990, in the vacant Brushy Creek National Bank building on FM 620, with 134 people in attendance. Brother Tex Williams led the first worship service. As the congregation began to search for its first minister, several outstanding ministers filled the pulpit position. The congregation is indebted to men such as George Williams, Ed Wharton, Cline Paden, Hardeman Nichols and John Reese who taught, encouraged, and supported our young congregation.
