Forest Creek Eye Center
In planning Forest Creek Eye Center, our mission was simple. Our goal was to give our patients the feeling that they were sitting in their own living room, to create an atmosphere reminiscent of the Texas Hill Country and to provide unequaled eye care.
Our focus is Eye Care. Our service includes providing comprehensive vision and eye health exams, the detailed testing and treatment of eye disease, and all inclusive contact lens evaluations and fittings.

Fitness 19
Fitness 19 was founded in 2003 by two fitness industry veterans who believed that the traditional health club model wasn’t meeting the needs of the vast majority of people. They started Fitness 19 to give customers more of what they really want out of a fitness membership.
The result is a simple, yet revolutionary fitness club concept: an extremely affordable, family-friendly facility that offers state-of-the-art cardio, strength and free weight equipment.
Fitness 19 is focused on offering more value than most other gyms in three areas: Quality, Convenience and Price. We achieve these goals by locating our gyms close to home, offering lots of world-class equipment and providing excellent kids’ room facilities.
Our knowledgeable, friendly staff, non-commissioned sales force and local management combine to make Fitness 19 the club for families who want a healthy lifestyle without the hassle or hefty cost. Come check us out!

HomeField Grill Open To The Public Today
The new HomeField Grill in Round Rock is open to the public beginning today. The official Grand Opening is Thursday, July 1, but they are now officially open.
We had the pleasure of attending their Mock Dinner Service last night and I was very impressed with the concept overall. Anne and I attended with a family friend and had the opportunity to try several dishes.
When we were finished with dinner Cheyne Maclaskey, Director of Fun (don’t you just love that title?), took us on a tour and told us all about their new concept.
HomeField Grill is a huge restaurant. With over 12,000 square feet it is the biggest restaurant in Williamson County. The restaurant seats 399 people and has a large game room for kids of all ages.
For meetings and business lunches they have two rooms set up that seat approximately 35 people each. One is semi-private and sits right in the middle of the restaurant. The other is more secluded and can be completely closed off for private meetings and presentations.
They also have a large bar area with all of the major beers of Texas on tap. One thing Cheyne pointed out is that this is a Sports-Themed Restaurant, not a sports bar, as you can tell from the pictures below. They do have flat-screen TVs throughout and will soon have special speaker systems installed at each table so you can listen into the show of your choice.
They had some fantastic deserts on the menu but you don’t want to miss out on the Blue Bell Ice Cream right next door at Yummy’s, which is owned by the same people.
Take a look at the pictures below and go visit them soon. You’ll be glad you did.
HomeField Grill
Executive Chef Scott Reed invites you to explore wholesome and tasty American and traditional Texas classics sourced from fresh local ingredients, prepared from scratch in his kitchen and wood grilled, sautéed or baked to your order.
Select from the largest collection of fine brews in Williamson County, or sample from our captivating wine list and robust selection of spirits. Catch the latest sporting events in the Clubhouse or on the HomeRun Porch covered patio. The Playing Field beckons with a challenging assortment of 50 games and activities geared for adults and older children. Have your parties and meetings at the Field House or Sky Box, and our Director of Fun will tailor the occasion just for your group.
HomeField prices are competitive with the chains, but you’ll enjoy better tasting and healthier food, better beverage choices and a whole lot more fun!
All HomeField Grill hand cut steaks and kitchen made burgers are 100% Texas grown Nolan Ryan’s Guaranteed Tender All-Natural Beef, with no additives. Our signature Flamethrower Pizzas are wood grilled, not baked, and feature a unique assortment of artisanal toppings that are finished with a torch while you watch! The menu includes over 80 items (appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrées, sides and desserts) plus Chef Scott’s daily fresh specials.
HomeField Grill is located in Sky Ridge Plaza, which is in the Northwest corner of Hester’s Crossing and Interstate 35, in the same shopping center as Sweet Love & Sugar Britches, Water2Wine, Round Rock Uniforms, and Be My Cupcake.
Homefield Grill is one of the many restaurants in Round Rock to be participating in Taste of Round Rock 2012. They were also part of the Taste of Round Rock 2011.
