Specialty Christmas Ideas from Simply Suzi Gifts

I took a little tour through Simply Suzi Gifts yesterday and she has some very nice Christmas decorations, table accessories and of course gifts.

Her two best sellers so far this year have been the Ladies Insulated Totes (see the pictures below for each item mentioned) and a book called A for Angels, A Bible Alphabet, by Laurie Parker.  The totes are $34 each and come in three different styles.  The book retails for $18.50 and is a collection of classic Bible stories retold lyrically in Parker’s trademark poetic style that celebrates language, fosters vocabulary development, and begs to be read out loud! (description from Amazon.com)

Suzi is also carrying some amazing hand-painted chairs.  Every single inch of these chairs is covered with beautiful Christmas imagery.  The large chairs she has in stock sell for $215.  There are also some kid-sized chairs coming soon that will be quite a bit less.

Suzi also has an amazing assortment of ornaments.  From monogrammed glass ornaments to personalized ceramic ornaments to mistletoe Crystal ornaments, you are sure to find something special to add to your Christmas tree this year.

Suzi also carries a nice assortment of holiday table runners, decorations and accessories to make your holiday table truly unique.  And last, but certainly not least, be sure to check out the cute, stuffed reindeer and LED lighted Christmas cards.

Be sure and tell Suzi that you heard about her store at DiscoverRoundRock.com!

Christmas Gifts for 2010 at Adam’s Gifts and Home Decor

I had a great time visiting with Rodney Howard yesterday at Adam’s Gifts and Home Decor. They have some really great Christmas gift ideas as well as some pretty unique Christmas trees for your home.

One of the first things you will notice when you walk in the door is the Umbrella Christmas Tree (upside down tree) with some beautiful ornaments. The Umbrella Christmas Tree is 4 feet tall and retails for $54.95.

A little further in you’ll notice a Flat Christmas Tree in a weighted urn base. This Flat Christmas Tree is 5 feet tall, about 3 feet wide and only about 10 inches deep. This would be great in an alcove or on a sofa table. The Flat Christmas Tree retails for $149.00.

Adam’s Gifts also has a large assortment of Collegiate branded ornaments and gifts. Most of the major schools are represented, including The University of Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, TCU, North Texas, Texas State and LSU.

In addition to the Collegiate ornaments they also carry the Ne’ Qwa Art Hand Painted Glass Ornaments. The amazing thing about these ornaments is that they are painted on the inside, so you don’t ever have to worry about the paint getting scratched off. Another cool thing to note is that one of the artists actually graduated from McNeil High School right here in Round Rock.

Adam’s Gifts also offers a small assortment of fair-trade, hand-made scarves from India. These are beautiful, silky-soft scarves that are great for any occasion.

No gift shop would be without an assortment of candles. In addition to Tyler Candles, Adam’s Gifts also carries Comfort Candles.  Made in Comfort, Texas, these candles are a paraffin-soy blend so they burn cleaner than regular wax candles and the wick has zinc in the middle, which burns hotter and keeps your candle burning evenly instead of creating the bowl effect and leaving wax build-up along the sides.

Comfort Candles come in a very nice square glass jar in a gift box ready for wrapping. They also use no dyes in the production of their candles, so they are all a nice neutral color to fit any decor.

And last, but certainly not least, Adam’s Gifts also offers a nice assortment of locally made salsas and jellies. This is something they carry year-round.

So, go by Adam’s Gifts and Home Decor and let them know you found them at DiscoverRoundRock.com.
